Project Description

The joint project "Resource-efficient circular economy - Innovative product cycles" (ReziProK) funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF) supports research and development of innovations for a resource-efficient circular economy.

The aim of the associated research projects is to close product cycles by developing appropriate business models, design concepts and digital technologies, thus contributing to the implementation of a resource-efficient circular economy.

The project "All-Polymer" focuses on the recyclability of plastics, which in view of major sustainability problems is currently at the forefront of innovation activities for many companies. To this end, the project uses plastic fibre composites to upgrade recycled plastics. The cooperation of sustainability researchers, experts in plastics, recycling and fibre composites from different sectors is intended to create closed-loop value chains that lead to a considerable reduction in CO2 emissions and plastic waste.
