You have written your bachelor, master or seminar thesis with us, or you have deepened your knowledge with us and want to stay in contact? Or are you, as a former student of the TUK, generally interested in professional exchange at lectures and workshops on the topic of sustainability management? Then register wth the  Alumni Network of the Technischen Universität Kaiserslautern and select the "Sustainability Management" group there.

What is the TUkan Alumni Network?

Since December, TUKAN, the alumni network of the TU Kaiserslautern, has been online via a new portal at www.alumni.uni-kl.de. More communication and interaction - the alumni portal, which is also backed by a new database system, offers the university and the individual departments, the alumni network and the alumni themselves a wide range of opportunities.

All TUK alumni - i.e. people who studied, did their doctorate, habilitated or worked at TUK - can register free of charge. In this way, alumni can stay in touch with their university and their former department, stay informed about current events on the Kaiserslautern campus, find former fellow students, or even found their own interest groups. Another advantage of the new system is that alumni can edit their profile themselves and keep their contact data up to date via the personal user profile with web login.

In the alumni portal, everything is visible at a glance: In addition to the latest news from the university, users can access the alumni network's services, such as the alumni newsletter, and find out how they can become active themselves and support students, or who is the right contact person for which issue.

In the section "Our Alumni", TUK alumni report about their study time and their career outside the university. Logged-in alumni can search for other alumni in the member directory using parameters such as department, degree program, graduation year or place of residence. In the various groups, for example of a specific department or chair, there is the possibility to get in touch with like-minded people via the forum, among other things. Users can also set up their own groups, such as subject groups on a specific topic or an alumni regulars' table in their city. Of course, the portal and the TUKAN newsletter also provide timely information about upcoming events such as alumni meetings.
