2022

Best PhD Student Paper Award GRONEN 2022

Cynthia Friedrich and Prof. Dr. Katharina Spraul were presented with the Best PhD Student Paper Award at the GRONEN 2022 Research Conference for their paper “Either you need me, or I’m leaving!” How sustainability managers influence the legitimacy process”. Aim2Flourish Prize 2022 Finalist

The written story "Sewer Heat Exchanger - The Predominant Way To Perform The Heat Transition!" by Johannes Claren and Betül Coban, supervised by Dr. Julia Hufnagel and Prof. Dr. Katharina Spraul, for the platform Aim2Flourish, is nominated among 84 finalists for the 2022 Flourish Prize.

2021

2021 Outstanding Review Award

Dr. Julia Hufnagel was presented with the 2021 Outstanding Review Award at the Academy of Management 2021 Annual Meeting by the Management, Spirituality, and Religion (MSR) Interest Group. The award is in recognition of her outstanding reviewer activities.

 

Nomination for the Distinguished Teaching Award

Prof. Dr. Katharina Spraul was nominated for the Distinguished Teaching Award this year.

With the Distinguished Teaching Award, the Technical University of Kaiserslautern recognizes outstanding commitment and excellent performance in academic teaching. The award recognizes lecturers who excel in the areas of teaching, examination, advising and mentoring of students.

Study Prize of the Stadtsparkasse Kaiserslautern

Ms. Teresa Körber, M.Sc., received the Study Award of the Stadtsparkasse Kaiserslautern for her outstanding academic achievements. Ms. Körber presented her master thesis "Entwicklung eines ganzheitlichen Nachhaltigkeitsstandards am Beispiel der Dr. Hauschka Kosmetik". The chair team congratulates her on this achievement.

Aim2Flourish Prize 2020 Finalist

The story "Wind and Solar Energy as an Efficient Source of Energy" by Sevilay Akkus and Deniz Cinar, written as part of the study project for the Aim2Flourish platform, is nominated among 76 finalists for the 2020 Flourish Prize.

2019

Doctoral Award of the Haaß Foundation

Dr. Eva Kiefhaber has received the Haaß Foundation's doctoral award for her outstanding dissertation. Dr. Kiefhaber received this award for her thesis "Sustainability in Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises: An Empirical Investigation of Drivers on Individual, Organizational, and Network Level". The chair team congratulates her on this achievement.

MSR Fetzer Scholarship Award

Dr. Julia Hufnagel is the recipient of the MSR Fetzer Scholarship Award from the Fetzer Institute and the Management, Spirituality and Religion (MSR) Interest Group of the Academy of Management.

Fetzer Institute's mission is to "create a spiritual foundation for a loving world." The prize is endowed with $2,000.

The story "Brunck Residential Quarter - Energy-Efficient and Sustainable Housing" by Patrick Theisen, Vadym Lutskyy, Lorenzo Burcheri, and the Sustainability Project Team Kaiserslautern of the Technical University of Kaiserslautern (TUK), written as part of the study project for the Aim2Flourish platform, is nominated among 76 finalists for the 2019 Flourish Prize.

Ms. Miriam Zech, M.Sc., received the study award of the Stadtsparkasse Kaiserslautern for her outstanding academic achievements. Ms. Zech presented her master thesis "Co-Creation as a concept for stakeholder involvement in sustainably oriented companies". The chair team congratulates her on this achievement.

Prof. Dr. Katharina Spraul receives the Top Reviewer Award for Public and Nonprofit Division and Journal of Public Administration Research and Theory of the Academy of Management Annual Conference. The award is a recognition for outstanding reviewer activities.

Prof. Dr. Katharina Spraul receives the Best Reviewer Award for Social Issues in Management Division of the Academy of Management Annual Conference. The award is a recognition for outstanding reviewer activities.


2008

Teaching Award of the State of Baden-Württemberg

Prof. Dr. Katharina Spraul receives the teaching award of the state of Baden-Württemberg for the course "Service Learning in New Public Managament" at the University of Mannheim. The linking of scientific seminar content and practical application through this didactic method was highlighted.
